Sami AJRAM, MSEE and Ph.D. in Electronics, started his career as a researcher in the IEMN (Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies) at the University of Lille in France (1993-2000) working on Ultra High Frequency power converters operating in the 100MHz switching-frequency range as well as RF front MMICs for 20GSa/sec real time scopes. In 2000, he joined the ASIC department of ATMEL in France and worked as a Technical Leader in charge of the PLL and clock synthesis design activities as well as front end analog IPs for medical sensors in CMOS technology. In 2006, he joined the Mobile Power Solution group at Fairchild Semiconductors, in San Jose CA, and led the definition and marketing of power management products dedicated to Smartphone RF transceivers. Finally, in 2009, he launched SL3J SYSTEMS, a new business concept focusing on the development of leading edge solutions and advanced technology systems in microelectronics.
He has got 6 patents and 18 international communications and publications. He received an award of best paper by IEEE PEL society in 2001 for his synthesis work on Ultra High Frequency power converters based on IIIV power devices.
